David joined the Chicago Title Land Trust Company in 2001 and serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. His responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of the company, including trust operations and administration, business development, as well as all corporate legal and regulatory matters.

He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and in Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Lanciotti is a past President and current Board Member of Land Trust Council of Illinois. He is also the author of Land Trust Administration in Illinois (IICLE 2009) and Modern Land Trust Practice (IICLE 2015). He has been retained to provide expert witness testimony relative to the construction, interpretation and administration of land trusts. In addition, he is a board-certified Continuing Legal Education Instructor and a frequent speaker at legal and banking seminars on land trust issues.
